We cannot run camp without our amazing counselors. Counselors are individuals who engage with the camp and students while holding leadership responsibilities throughout the week. This includes engaging in worship, leading a group of students through an activity, and being a representative of Jesus to these students. Camp counselors have a unique opportunity to have a lifelong impact on campers' lives in such a short amount of time. God has given each of us skills, hobbies, life experiences, and gifts that allow us to connect with others in unique ways.

Reminder for all counselors or non-pastors that will be on the camp premises that you bring (above 18 years of age), you will need to train them under your Kids Ministry policy and have a current (within the last five years) Federal and State background check done on them to ensure the safety of our campers. This is the responsibility of the local church. If they are part of your current kids ministry, this should not be a problem. The background check does need to be a PLUS-STATEWIDE level. We use Protect My Ministry, but you can use whatever your church chooses.
