What is winter retreat?
Winter Retreat an experience that’s designed to refresh & inspire our pastors, their spouses, staff, and lay leaders. We pray you are also encouraged, equipped, and challenged through experiencing this time away. Winter Retreat has a lot of free time built in for you to retreat and do something you enjoy, whether that's taking a nap, going on a date with your spouse, exploring the city, team building activities, etc.
LOCATION
Winter Retreat will be held at North Coast Church, located at 2405 N Santa Fe Ave, Vista, CA 92084. We are meeting in The Edge facility.

who is retreat for?
All appointed ministerial students, licensed pastors, commissioned and ordained pastors should plan to attend. Church leaders and spouses are also invited.
Childcare will be provided by North Coast Church for infants-6 years old and only offered during the sessions. The cost is $40/child, which should be paid to the district when registering.

You're responsible for making your own travel and lodging arrangements, although we have several hotels with group blocks set up.

Q: What should I wear?
A: Casual dress is acceptable including jeans.
Q: Is transportation provided?
A: Transportation is not provided. You are responsible for getting your own transportation.
Q: What meals are included?
A: During the morning sessions, light breakfast items will be offered. During the evening session, some type of dessert will be provided. Snacks and beverages will be available throughout the event. You are responsible for all other meals.
Q: Who gets a mileage check?
A: Appointed pastors will receive a mileage check for $300.00 following the last session at retreat, so if you are a ministerial student, licensed pastor or ordained pastor working at one of the churches in the district, you can expect a mileage check.
